I am taking action now… Are you? Well I have taken my first step to an income online and that was to decide on a plan. What is my plan? How will I make money?

Well I am creating this blog that you see right here to build me a list, it also has a couple of affiliate links on it that will take you to Hostgator which is the hosting company I use and most online marketers use.  And I have a link to Aweber which is an Autoresponder which again is the software of choice for most marketers. Well I decided to build a blog about my journey to an income online, and on the way I want to help people new to online marketing make money to. Also any other method that I find to make money online I will be posting it here.

At this stage it is not all about the money, I am concentrating on building relationships with like minded people like myself who are new to online marketing and also want to change their lives. I figure I might appeal to the new marketer as I am new to this to and I can teach what I learn on a basic level.

I read somewhere to succeed you must be willing to receive, and to succeed you must be willing to give. So here is the deal that is what I want visitors to my blog to do, I am getting help and in turn I want to pass my knowledge on. There is enough of the internet pie to go around all of us, I hope you get involved in my blog so we can all learn together.

Remember this, don’t get pulled into the trap of what I like to call the newbie overload. This is where you find yourself spending hours and hours reading about this opp and that opp but sitting back and never taking action. Why It Is So Important To Build a List to Build an Income Online

Hi guys how ya all doing very well I hope?

Hope you are all enjoying my blog posts and getting something outta of it.

Everytime I find something that is useful for our business I will post the links right here, you wanna know what methods will make money they will be here, you want free gifts you can get them here. Well today I thought I would talk about the importance of creating a list, of course having a list is not the only way to create an income online there are many ways. I think to make money without a list is more difficult have you ever heard the saying “The money is in the list”

Well then lets make a list, I have not got anyone in my list yet this is the step that I wanna achieve right now. I took action and signed up to Aweber, I started this blog and I will be offering free advice on how we can all become successful at online marketing. You know a lot of the big guns in internet marketing have huge lists that whenever they have a new product ready to sell,  they simply email their lists and bingo instant many thousands of dollars.

We too can enjoy that success but to do this you need to have some sort of web presense like I am doing.

You pick a domain name

You sign up to wordpress

You get your own hosting

You sign up to Aweber for your autoresponder

You help people

When people do sign up to your newsletter they are not going to be knocking at your door every five minutes to see what your up to.You gotta offer them value and build up a relationship, you want to give them free advice and send them your products for free and they will keep coming back for more. Every subscriber to your list is a human being not just a name on a list try and treat them with the respect they deserve give them value and in turn they will trust you and buy the products you recommend. So just another method guys lets get on with it and build our lists.

Methods for Driving Traffic to Your Website

Well I know there are probably hundred’s of ways to drive traffic to your sites and I have used only a handful of these methods. Let me share with you the methods that I used to drive over 3000 targeted visitors to my other site in just a few months. If I had my autoresponder up and running then I probably would of got a few subscribers out of it.

I will add more methods as I find them but I just thought you guys might just want to know how easy it can be to drive traffic to your site.

Fresh Content – make sure you add fresh content to your blog at least a couple of times a week google loves fresh new content

Social Bookmarking - bookmark your sites at all the popular social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Furl, Facebook there are lots of them just google. I use software to submit my sites as it is a pretty tedious task.

RSS Feeds – Which stands for really simple syndication just get your sites rss feed and submit them to all the sites that allow you to do so. Again google it and you will get a ton of sites to submit to. Again I use software to do this but it can be done manually just takes more time.

Write Articles – And submit your article to Ezinearticles, Goarticles etc there are a few of them I think Ezine is the best this not only gets you targeted traffic but also creates backlinks to your site.

Join Related Forums – And post on these forums with useful information about your related niche to help others.Do not forget to put your site in your signature,and this type of activity should get you some targeted traffic.

Related Blog Comments – Post comments on other peoples blogs that are in your niche,take the time to post a good comment this will get you backlinks to your site also.

Yahoo Answers – Go to Yahoo answers and find related niches and leave a detailed answer,guess what more backlinks.

Video Marketing – I have submitted one video to youtube that is it don’t know much about this one at the moment.

Long Tail Keywords – Use the right keywords that people are searching for and get your page on the front page of google then your laughing.

Search Engine Optimize Your Website – Especially if you are using wordpress there are SEO plugins.

Press Releases – Create a press release about your site and what its all about and submit to press release sites.

Free Reports – Create reports to give out to your list making sure that there are links to your site included scattered through the report.

Quick Easy Way I Made $93 Online!

Hi guys,

Well in my last post I claimed to be new to online marketing, but in fact I have been there and got the t-shirt. Sort of anyway. Well I am no expert by any means, and to date I have made a grand total of $93. I still have not received my cheque, though I gotta make $100 before I cash it in.

It was only a one off and it was just a method I was following and I proved that this online caper actually works to myself. As I say marcuspassey.com is just the start of my bigger picture, but the method I shall describe below should get you results.

So what is the easiest way to make money online?

Go to Clickbank, create an account, and then pick a product to promote. But stay away from the IM niche if you are just starting out.

Then select 10-15 keywords based on your niche. Go here to check what keywords you can rank for “adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal”. In general I believe that any keyword with 100 searches a day that has less than 20,000 results in google when the keyword is searched for with quotes will be easy to rank for. I am not too hot on keyword research. Once I get more experience I will do a post on it.

Then create a money page… I used Wordpress for this and purchased a domain name, but there are free sites to use as money pages such as Squidoo and Blogger which allow you to get a little more commercial.

This is my site I made around the clickbank product I chose called the reverse phone detective.

I then created a network around my money page using Blogger, Wetpaint, Hubpages, Weebly, Quizilla and Squidoo, with each containing content about the reverse phone detective software. The sites would link to each other like this Blogger—Wetpaint—Weebly—Quizilla—Hubpages—Squidoo.

Now each of these sites have 2 links on them, linking them to each other then a link from each site linking to the money page. But one page will only have one link on it and that is the Squidoo page where it will only have a link to the money page. We don’t want to make a complete linking circle because when google spiders the sites and links it will see that we are linking all our pages together and we could get penalized for it.

Then we submit our sites to the popular social bookmarking sites and submit our feed to the RSS feed sites.

Also write a couple of articles a day and submit them to Ezine Articles at ezinearticles.com. These actions should get at least one sale a week. So lets say you create 1 network a day around a clickbank product with the right keywords and you get 1 sale a week of lets say £10. After a month you have 30 networks up making £10 a week each that’s 300 quid people.

Then once you got the hang of it you then write a report on “how to make £300 a week the easy way” and sell it for £47. See how easy it can be? I have created one network and made $93, but I have not been consistant with it. I have only skimmed the surface here with that idea and the traffic generation and keyword selection but I hope you get the idea.

Simple right?

Take action my friends and eventually you will reap the rewards.

Our Time To Shine In 2009

Hi everyone, my name is Marcus Passey and welcome to my blog MarcusPassey.com.

If you are new to online marketing and want to learn ways to make money online then you have found the right place. I am quite new to online marketing myself and have started this blog in order to make a better life for myself and my family. I have no special skills just the desire to create an extra income,I am just an ordinary guy who works a 50 hour week getting up at 4.30am delivering letters.

Do I wanna do that until I am 65? No way! So begins my journey to an income online.

So What are my goals for 2009?

1) To clear my debts
2) To earn an extra income
3) To leave my job and be my own boss
4) To show others what I have learned so they to can succeed.

I have also been very fortunate to be accepted on a course where I will be personally coached to a level where I will be making an income online. I am not sitting on the fence anymore, I am getting off my arse and I am taking action.
