Guys this was just a personal goal of mine to make a video,wayyyy outta my comfort zone. But you know Alex’s previous students made one so I went ahead and did it to. But yeah now you have seen my pictures my dance video and now you have heard me great stuff yeah.
Dont take to much notice of my words to many mmm’s and errr’s and I also have the most boring voice tone ever….but hey gotta start somewhere right.
I promise I am a fun loving guy dont take any notice of the tone of my voice.

Great video, my friend!
I’ve just been starting to get into the video thing and you’re right, it’s not easy! The fact that you’re getting out there and putting your face on the screen is waaaaay ahead most of the others that just write everything.
The power of video where it’s at, so that’s why I’m really pushing it on my blog. And you could see Alex does the same, so it must be working!

Well done, I keep meaning to do the same sort of thing but I always manage to find things to put it off,always something else to do eh.
They say the first one is the hardest guess i’m gonna have to set it as a goal or i’ll never get around to it.
Just gotta finish off this project first though lol

Congratulations on jumping on board with the new wave of video blogging (or is it vlogging?) The video came out great. Don’t be hard on yourself. It did exactly what it was designed to do. You introduced yourself to us and gave us an even better face-to-name experience.

I know how difficult it can be to speak into a video , takes practice ….. I have had some training in delivering training and teaching people …. and even now it can have its moment ….

As I said on the forum, great first attempt. The first time in speaking in front of the camera is always going to be hard & nerve racking, just like anything. But you did it regardless of your nerves, you’ve really encouraged me to follow suit, as I’m sure you have with others too.
I’ll let you know when I’m brave enough to put mine up.

Hey Marcus,
Great blog entry (again!) When are you going to do something rubbish so the rest of us have the chance to catch up?
Your videos are great first attempts and can only get better in time.
One tip I had in university when I worked on the student radio station was to smile when you talk as that can really shine through, plus when on screen, you will look a lot more relaxed if you smile.

Hey Marcus,
Not easy doing video is it. You’ve done
a great job. You can clearly see how
nervous you were in the first one but
a big improvement on each of the next two.
The main thing is now you have done 3 videos
and that’s 3 more than you had done before so
you’re that much closer to being a video expert.
You ask if you should delete the first two videos.
Absolutely NOT!
You keep them so six months from now you can look
back and see how far you have come. You will look
back and laugh and say, “Was that really me”.

Seriously, keep those videos up bro, its GREAT you cringe at the first one buddy seriously!
Let me tell you something I used to think…
When I was in my early 20’s I used to sit back and think of myself say 2 or 3 years before that time and think oh my god and cringe. Every time I did it, id cringe.
I had this vague feeling that I must actually be a total idiot and only realise 2 years later or something but actually be an idiot all the time! lol
Well I realised, HELL NO! Thats wasnt it at all..
Its called progression my man, if you can look back and go hey yeah thats how I am right now, you have NOT progressed.
If you look back and cringe, thats progression biting you in the butt my man so its WORTH IT!
You cringe because you progressed and are now better, have a beer and celebrate and dont delete the evidence.
